| Founded by life-long musicians, North Hill Media was created as an alternative solution to the usual business practices of the music industry. Our goal -through sync placement and licensing- is not only to provide absolutely amazing music to editors and music supervisors, but to get our artists to the point where they are making their living by writing the music they love. |
Instead of an overwhelming collection of hundreds of thousands of tracks written by thousands of composers and spanning hundreds of genres, North Hill's library is a boutique library: comprised of bands, composers and singer/songwriters across a few very select genres, representing only the best of the best of what we have to offer in each. |

| Our artists start with a standard 50/50 publishing and songwriting split, between North Hill and themselves. Rather than maintaining that same 50/50 split indefinitely, as our artists become more successful, North Hill will give them more and more of the publishing revenue.
At North Hill, we believe musicians should be much higher up on the music world's food chain. Without musicians, there would be no music industry. It's about time they started to get their fair share. |
Our community of artists will benefit from direct contact with the company's agents, whenever they need it. We work side-by-side with the contributors to our library to get their compositions into the right hands.
Licensees will benefit from a highly-coordinated musical collective, with stems and instrumental versions of desired tracks available at a moment's notice.
